Incontinence/Prolapse

Women’s prolapse and incontinence problems are often ignored, underestimated or under-treated and are the source of great stress, inconvenience and embarrassment.

Often, a careful and detailed assessment, thorough but gentle examination and the use of relevant investigations will identify the problem.

From there, with up to date information and resources readily available, our doctors will carefully discuss the options whether they be simple, natural, medical or surgical. They have extensive experience with Urodynamics (incontinence diagnosis), pessary fitting and state of the art surgery.

A/Prof Ward has a database of almost 1000 patients with 1300 surgical procedures and has presented and operated internationally. The Practice has a Wave Brilliance Chair (unique to the area)  which assists with helping the pelvic floor muscles regain their strength
