About A/Prof Ward

South African born, Rhodesian bred, A/Prof Ward trained at University of Cape Town in Biochemistry and Medicine before meeting and marrying his best friend Kathy and moving to Port Elizabeth for 10 years. In 1995 after the arrival of their 3 lovely children, he moved to specialise at the world-renowned Stellenbosch University where he obtained his Specialist and Masters degrees.

 

He practised in Canada for 7 years before emigrating to Australia in 2006 to establish a practice of excellence in Coffs Harbour, while concurrently operating privately from Baringa Private Hospital. A/Prof Ward proudly served as the former head of the Obstetric and Gynaecology Department at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus for over 15 years. 

 

He has a conjoint Associate Professor appointment at the University of NSW Rural Medical School and loves spending time with students teaching
and mentoring them in their career pursuits.

Dr Harvey ward has recently retired from all Obstetric practice and antenatal care. 

About Dr Aaron Budden

Dr Budden is a Gynaecologist who provides a broad range of minimally invasive gynaecological services in the public and private system who consults at Womens Reproductive Care, focusing on a high level of dedication to patient care.

  • Endometriosis

  • Total laparoscopic hysterectomy

  • Laparoscopic myomectomy (fibroids)

  • Laparoscopic pelvic floor repairs

  • Pelvic organ prolapse

  • Pelvic floor disorders

 

Dr Budden completed his Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Newcastle in 2012 and completed his speciality training in 2018 at the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick, Sydney.  He was awarded a highly prized minimally invasive surgical fellowship through the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society and was then awarded fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists

 

Dr Budden has a keen interest in education and currently holds teaching appointments at the University of NSW as a Conjoint Lecturer.  He has published numerous scientific articles and presents regularly at local and international conferences.
