Fertility

Our clinic offers outpatient services for fertility care.

A/Prof Ward will thoroughly evaluate a couples’ fertility needs in a private and professional manner.  He performs cycle stimulation and intrauterine insemination (the only service in the region). Should further reproductive assistance be needed, ongoing care will be coordinated with experts in major centres.

A/Prof Ward also offers counselling for couples choosing to adopt, involve surrogates and donor programs. Do not hesitate to enquire if you would like to find out more about these services.

Investigations undertaken include:

• Laboratory tests, semen analysis and on-site ultrasound to assess pelvic organs and ovulatory function. Follicle tracking by ultrasound

• Follicle tracking by ultrasound “for IVF cycles”

• Diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopy to check the uterine cavity, tubal patency and repair or excision.

• Laparoscopic (keyhole) treatment of endometriosis or tuboplasty

• Restoration of ovulation, through stimulation

• Ovarian Surgery

• Intrauterine insemination, with cycle stimulation
